CSA HARVEST BOX

Small Harvest Box ($30/week): 5-7 items

Large Harvest Box ($40/week): 8-10 items

Both available weekly and bi-weekly.

Other options for harvest boxes and participation available, see below!

Please read below to learn all about how our CSA program works, your payment options and see a list of all the good food we grow!

Harvest Box Subscriptions

How It Works

Germinating plants.

Each week or bi-weekly, from June to October, you’ll pick up an intentionally selected variety box of vegetables, berries and herbs. All produce will be harvested within days of pick up. Boxes will change seasonally and you will receive different produce every week!

Check out our list of What We Grow for a taste of what you might find in your boxes!

Every harvest box will include a recipe selected by your farmers to use as much of the produce in your box as possible. We hope to inspire you to use familiar foods in new ways and new foods in familiar ways! You will also be invited to join a harvest box Facebook group where like-minded, eco-enthusiastic harvest box members can share storage tips, recipes and diverse uses for their fresh produce throughout the season.

Pick-up dates & locations:

Friday evenings - Good Care Farm (230 Davidson’s Side Rd.)

Saturdays - Nutrichem (2599 Carling Ave.)

What if you can’t pick up?

Email to let us know by the end of day Monday and you will receive a credit to use at our farm stand. Weekly harvest box subscribers can receive up to 2 credits per season, and bi-weekly harvest box subscribers can receive 1 credit per season.

Gifting your harvest box to a friend is always an option - the more people eating local, organic vegetables, the better! If you don’t get to coordinating that, don’t worry, any extra boxes left will be donated to a local food bank.

Swapping Produce

We encourage everyone to try new food and new ways of cooking food! We would love to talk about different ways to use our produce with you. However, we will always have a swap bin available when you pick up your harvest box, to trade items within a $1 range.

If you have allergies to a lot of vegetables or have very picky eaters at home, we encourage you to sign up for our Connection Box program, where we can discuss what is best for you and you can pick your own vegetables at the farm!

Payment Options

Pay in full

By choosing to pay in full, you help support Good Care Farm’s busy start of the season as we plan and prepare to grow delicious fresh food for you and our community! To pay in full for a weekly or bi-weekly harvest box of your desired size, please select that option below.

Split Your Payment

To make our harvest boxes more financially accessible, the split payment option is available below to split your payment in two for both small and large harvest boxes. Pay half now and half in three months!

This option is a subscription, and the second half of the payment will come out of your account automatically.

Save 3% with E-transfer Payments

E-transferring us at hello@goodcarefarm.ca is also an option. You may take 3% off the website total, since website payment fees aren’t involved. The amount for e-transfer is listed in each harvest box’s description so you don’t have to do the math!

We do encourage you to pay in full if you can. Split payment is also welcome (pay 50% now, 50% later), but please put it in your calendar to send the remaining 50% within a 3 month period.

In the notes of your e-transfer, please include the following information:

  • Your name

  • The type of harvest box you’re paying for

  • Your email - if you aren’t able to use the @ symbol in your e-transfer message, please use (at). Ex: hello(at)goodcarefarm.ca.

    • We use your email to send you an order confirmation, updates on pick up dates and locations, and reminders to pick up your boxes! Please note that our CSA mailing list is separate from our newsletter list, which you can sign up for here.
