Our workshops are focused on creatively engaging people in nature. Learning about our natural world helps us take better care of it. Through ecological education and making eco art, we connect our community to the land their food comes from, and have fun doing it!
Field Art Thursdays
Every Thursday from 4-7 pm during our farm stand at Good Care Farm (230 Davidson’s Side Rd), we invite our community to join us in our field to creatively engage with plants and nature. Each week has a suggested theme, and we provide basic art supplies and optional guidance on how to interact with the plants and tools.
All are welcome, and you can come with your own ideas and supplies if you’d like!
Field Art Thursdays are completely free to attend and child-friendly!

October 8th: Fall leaves!
Come celebrate the beautiful shapes and colours of autumn leaves! Join us in doing leaf rubbings, making outdoor autumn garlands, and other fall-themed crafts.
October 15th: Potato T-shirts!
We have a crate-load of potatoes that got super munched on by critters! Instead of tossing ‘em, we’re slicing them up, punching out shapes, and block printing on t-shirts. We’ll provide fabric paints, but it’s BYO t-shirt (or other garment!). No shirt? No problem! We’ll also have paper for printing.
October 22: Good Gourds!
Our final field art Thursday will be in celebration of everyone’s favourite fall storage crops - gourds! Learn to draw/paint pumpkins, butternut squash, and delicata squash (if you're feeling ambitious!).
